Looking for a new home is no joke. My wife and I spent months looking at houses online, driving by them, and even going inside of some. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it in the end. After all, this is our forever home – the place we'll raise our family and make memories. But I have to say, there were definitely some funny moments along the way.

One of the funniest moments happened when we were looking at a house that was in a bit of a rough neighborhood. We had been warned by the real estate agent to be careful, but we thought we could handle it. Well, we were wrong. We got lost and ended up in the middle of a backyard wedding which we weren't invited tool! We quickly got out of there and vowed to never go back out of shear embarrassment.

Another funny moment happened when we were dealing with a pushy real estate agent. She was trying to get us to buy a house that we really didn't like. She even went as far as to stage a fake fight with her husband, just to get us to sympathize with her. It was all very bizarre and we ended up walking away from that house – and that real estate agent!
